Qingdao Xinghai Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987 with a total investment of RMB 200 million, 160 employees and 20 technical development personnel. It is mainly engaged in refitting, R&D, production and sales of auto parts, special vehicles and new energy electric vehicles, exhaust emission systems, etc. Now it has formed PE, PS and PVC sheet production line, automotive interior production line, painting production line, mold processing center, product development and design center, etc.

The leading products are as follows: the automobile part series include automobile fan shields, auto bumpers, mudguards, wheel fenders, wind deflectors, conveyor belt covers and other automotive products, Mitsubishi shells and other FRP products and plastic products;wheel fender, bonnet and boot of Hongqi sedan car; refrigeration equipment (evaporative cooling, FRP cooling towers, cold storage electric doors, ventilation ducts and fans of various specifications and model) and other products. The special vehicle series include sanitation vehicles, refrigerator vehicles, poultry transport vehicles, electric vehicle products, etc.

The company has excellent R&D conditions, and is equipped with a perfect design network system and design software as well as a dedicated R&D laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with a variety of R&D experimental equipment, such as ultrasonic wave thickness gauges, universal testing machines, element analyzers, impact testing machines, etc. The original value of the equipment and instruments is RMB 23.85 million, which can be adopted to carry out the reliability test of various parts, such as cylinders, pumps, valves, oil tubes, etc. It has laid a solid foundation for the company's project research and development and technological innovation. 

Cost control is equally important for automobile light-weighting. The company focuses on development of new materials and new processes:

①By means of low density 1.1g/cm³, high-performance and low cost (it can be less than the SMC cost by 7% to 8%) of LFT-D material, the utilization rate in the commercial vehicles is progressively increased.

②By means of low density and high-strength, the carbon fiber is being applied for appearance parts of the sedan cars.

③In the PDCPD project, it develops pdcpd products together with FAW Jiefang for batch application on FAW commercial vehicles.
