Xinghai Group is located in Qingdao Automobile Industry New City, with a total floor area of 360 mu and a planned construction plant and supporting area of 200,000 square meters. It is mainly engaged in special vehicles, new energy vehicles, auto parts, auto refitting, warehousing logistics operation, incubation base and other main business.

Xinghai Group has 10 companies, including Qingdao Xinghai Auto Parts Co., Ltd., Qingdao Xinghai Kato Technology Co., Ltd., Qingdao Haiyu Vehicle Machinery Co., Ltd., Qingdao Xinghai Logistics Co., Ltd., Qingdao Automobile Industry New City Automotive Technology Innovation Incubator Co., Ltd., etc. After all projects of the group are put into production, the total production capacity will reach annual refitting of 5,000 special vehicles and 1,000 new energy electric vehicles as well as manufacturing of 720,000 auto parts.

Xinghai Group obtained the qualification of special vehicle manufacturing enterprise of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in September 2015,  and has successively passed identification of first-batch Jimo Engineering Technology Research Center, Shandong Provincial Zhongchuang Space, Expert Workstation, Qingdao Municipal Enterprise Technology Center and Qingdao Small Identification of Small- and Micro-sized Enterprise Entrepreneurship And Innovation Base since 2016. Xinghai Group is currently: designated manufacturer of special vehicles for FAW Hongqi Car (296), cooperative enterprise of new energy electric vehicles of Chinese Academy of Sciences, key encouraging enterprise of Qingdao new energy vehicles and special vehicles, designated manufacturer of FAW Jiefang special vehicles, designated retrofitting enterprise of wing opening vans of FAW Volkswagen Qingdao Company, strategic cooperative enterprise of Chia Tai Group, Automotive Technology Innovation Incubation Base of Qingdao Automobile Industry New City, VP level unit of Jimo Automobile Industry Association, Jimo Logistics Association and council member of Qingdao Logistics Association.
